Our range of quality cotton canvases from Global Art Supplies are all completely handmade in Italy using locally sourced materials to build beautiful canvases to the highest standards possible. Every one is double primed with a high quality acrylic gesso making them ideal for oil and acrylic painting. This gesso gives the surfaces excellent tooth and adhesion whilst also protecting against damage from fading that can occur over time. Each canvas has been hand stretched over quality wooden stretchers for the optimum level of tension whilst preventing your canvases from warping, resulting in painting surfaces you can depend on.
